Συντάκτες και αναγνώστες επιλέγουν: Τα καλύτερα άλμπουμ του 2014

Όταν πριν από ένα χρόνο αποχαιρετούσαμε το 2013, ρίχνοντας μια ματιά στις λίστες με τους καλύτερους δίσκους της χρονιάς διαπιστώναμε ότι το '14 θα είχε δύσκολο έργο στην σύγκριση με μια χρονιά που έμοιαζε η πιο πλούσια δισκογραφικά της πενταετίας. Αν και ξεκίνησε (όπως κάθε χρονιά) νωθρά και με λίγες αξιόλογες κυκλοφορίες, το 2014 στην συνέχεια έμελλε να μας διαψεύσει και να μας εκπλήξει ευχάριστα. Από την νεο-ψυχεδέλεια έως το synthpop revival υπήρξαν μπόλικες επιλογές για όλα τα γούστα. Φυσικά υπήρξαν και αρκετές απογοητεύσεις αλλά το θετικό πρόσημο επικρατεί στον τελικό απολογισμό. Και αυτό γιατί και οι νεότερες μπάντες, που βρίσκονται στον δεύτερο-τρίτο δίσκο, έδειξαν έτοιμες να πάνε τον ήχο τους ένα βήμα παραπέρα, αλλά και μουσικοί που δεν χρειάζονται συστάσεις μας έκαναν και πάλι να καταλάβουμε...γιατί δεν χρειάζονται συστάσεις.

Στα συν η τρομερή χρονιά για την εγχώρια σκηνή με σοβαρές υποψίες ότι πρόκειται για την καλύτερη της τελευταίας δεκαετίας ενώ στα πλην η απουσία (κυρίως εκτός συνόρων) αρκετών πρωτοεμφανιζόμενων συγκροτημάτων. Επίσης καταγράφουμε και το μεγάλο ερώτημα που γέννησε αυτή η χρονιά. Χορευτικά σύνθια ή ψυχεδελικές βρώμικες κιθάρες;

Εμείς όπως πέρισυ...λυπόμαστε το 2015 ελπίζοντας να κάνουμε το ίδιο λάθος και η χρονιά που έρχεται να είναι στο ίδιο επίπεδο δισκογραφικά με φέτος (αναγκάζοντας μας να ανακαλέσουμε και πάλι στο τέλος της) και σας παρουσιάζουμε τις λίστες των συντακτών και των αναγνωστών του PressPop.gr με τα καλύτερα 20 άλμπουμ της χρονιάς, τα περισσότερα από τα οποία παρουσιάστηκαν αναλυτικά στην μουσική μας στήλη.
